Every time our results are “ND” or Non-Detected for residual solvents. In general, Legal and professionally produced extracts are rigorously purged of solvents to safe levels—often below detectable limits. For perspective, terpenes, which make up 5-10% of many extracts, are technically hydrocarbon solvents themselves and present a greater potential harm than the trace amounts of residual solvent allowed in legal products.

4. The "Live" Misconception

"Live" products—made from cannabis that is harvested and frozen immediately—are celebrated for their high terpene levels. However, not all terpenes are beneficial or enjoyable. The volatile compounds retained in live products can result in harsh, grassy flavors, and some may even be irritating or harmful when inhaled.
